Koegel Park

Route 118 (Tomahawk Street), Westchester County, NY

Town residents only.

Provides much of the town's passive recreation activities provided by the Town.


Directions:

Taconic Parkway north to get off at the exit for Route 6, the last exit in Westchester County, before going into Putnam County; turn right; pass by the Jefferson Valley Mall on the right, and Lake Osceola on the left; pass by the Baldwin Pace Shopping Center and turn right on Route 118 heading south; shortly after passing the cemetery on the right is the park entrance, also on the right.


History:

1933  -- the park includes the Tomahawk Chapel and a 0.2-acre parcel that was acquired by the Town in 1993 to allow a physical connection for the park to the chapel property.

picnic areas; caretakers residence


Trails:

The North County Trailway goes through part of the park.
