15 acres

Directions:

Merritt Parkway north to exit 44; turn right onto Congress Street; turn left onto Burr Street; drive 0.6 of a mile and turn right onto Lancelot Drive; park at the end of the cul-de-sac by the trail entrance.

Trails:

11/21/2005.  On a cool morning, Ceferino Santana, dog Sonar and I park at the end of the cul-de-sac.  We head west on a short entrance path.  We pass a small pond on the right.  We head left through a stone wall heading south.  A sign says this is Aspetuck Land Trust land and the donor was Sibyl Harwood.  We have a choice of heading left or right on an un-blazed figure-8 trail. On the eastern boundary of the land, the path goes really close to private houses.  We use two boardwalks in a wet area.  We finish the perimeter of the figure 8 trail (without using the middle connector path).  Dr. Patrick L. Cooney.
