A. C. Dutton Property
off Route 9, downtown Poughkeepsie, Dutchess County, New York
15 acres

History:

mid 1980s – On the property, there was a lumber treatment facility named A. C. Dutton Lumber Corporation with president Stephen Miron.

23002 (June 5) – Scenic Hudson, Inc. announced that it has secured the right to purchase the former A.C. Dutton Lumber Corp. property located in the City and Town of Poughkeepsie. It may include a permanent headquarters for Scenic Hudson, but it would take five years for planning and construction. Ned Sullivan, president of Scenic Hudson, said that "This property has the potential to achieve Scenic Hudson's goal of helping revitalize urban waterfronts along the Hudson River."

Next-door neighbors would be the Poughkeepsie train station, Waryas Park and property owned by Vassar and Marist colleges. Each of the colleges owns land north of the Dutton Lumber property and uses it for rowing teams and clubs.
