drive .6 mile and turn right onto Dutcher Avenue; immediately
park along the road pull off areas
History:
John B. Dutcher was one of Pawling's biggest boosters. He was born in Dover in 1830. He became a successful businessman and politician in Dover.
In Pawling, he invested in building local business, partly because he foresaw the coming of the railroad to the area.

Trails:
This is a very open area along semi-busy roads near a fire department house.
Across the R5 55 is supposed to be a big nature preserve, but I don't know how to access it.
