Trails:

11/30/2004.  At the main preserve sign, there is a very, very small circular walk.  A nice touch of compensation is that quite a few of the trees in this small area have identification labels.  The reason the trail is so small is that most of the area is wetlands with a stream heading crossing under Kipp Street.  They will need to put in board walks if they want a longer walk.  On the other side of the road  there are no trails.  The area is not as wet as the opposite side of the street, but still has many low, wet areas. I walked out into the area  to look around and saw lots of elm trees.  There were, however, very few herbs.  Dr. Patrick L. Cooney.
