Directions:

from the Long Island Expressway (495) take Exit 56 and go north on Rte. 111 (Wheeler Rd.) for 1.8 miles. Turn left at the light, continuing on Rte. 111 (now Hauppauge Rd.) for 2.3 miles to the junction of Rte. 25 and Rte 25A. Cross Rte. 25, bear left at the fork onto River Rd. Proceed 1.7 mile and turn right at the light onto Edgewood Avenue. Proceed 1.1 mile and turn left onto Fifty Acre Rd. Proceed 0.6 mile. The preserve parking area is on the left.
