History:
1997 – Governor Pataki pledged $7.5 million for land acquisitions in the Croton Watershed.
2002 – Governor Pataki says the State will buy the property.
The State purchased the parcel for $2,924,000.The New York City Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) holds a conservation easement restricting development on this property.
