NJ Transit F40PH-2CAT is seen on April 17, 1999 in for servicing at the newly constructed Raritan enginehouse.
With dynamics whining, and horn blowing for the Sycamore Street crossing, westbound NJT train 3265 glides into the Little Silver station on June 16, 1999. the Arrow III MU train is just two stops away from Long Branch station, the end of electrification on the NJCL. Note the ditchlights that have been added.
The ampmeters are maxed out as ALP-44 number 4410 accelerates NJT train 3271 west from the Red Bank station on June 16, 1999. The rear of the train is passing the switch where Conrail's Southern Secondary begins for South Amboy based local freights which serve the freight only line.
Just minutes away from a quick turn and a run as an "X" train back to New York, NJT train 3609 glides across the large Raritan River swing bridge on June 16, 1999 as it approaches South Amboy station.
NJT train 4614 accelerates across Bellvue Avenue after leaving the Hammonton Station, on NJT's Atlantic City Line on Friday July 2, 1999. GP40PH-2 4613 is heading north and will arrive at Amtrak's 30th Street Station in less than an hour. Note the unusual 4 car consist which marks the beginning of the holiday weekend.

Amtrak train number 91 speeds west on the Northeast Corridor on October 17, 1999, passing the Newark Airport station which is under construction. When the station opens in the next millenium, monorail service will connect it to the airport terminals.
NJT train 7839 westbound is approaching Lane, not far from the new Haines interlocking on October 17, 1999. The future airport station can be seen in the backround.
Single tracking west of NY Penn station forced NJT MU train 7820 to wait at Swift interlocking for push pull train 7241 to pass on October 17, 1999.
Consisting of Arrow III MU's, NJT train 7820 still has to wait to get into NY Penn for Dover bound train number 6927 to pass.
NJ Transit train 7860 arrives at Penn Station, New York on October 17, 1999. The train, headed for track 12, has just emerged from the North River Tunnels to enter the big apple.
