Anthony Kirby is a Byzantinist, graduated at Queen's University, Belfast, where he specialized in Archeology. He expresses his love for travelling in poetry. Jonathan Harris studied Ancient and Medieval History at King's College London and Royal Holloway College, London. He is now a Research Fellow at University College London. His Ph.D. thesis was Greek refugees and immigrants in western Europe during the fifteenth century (1993) which was published last year by Porphyrogenitus as Greek Emigres in the West 1400-1520. Peter Hatlie teaches Byzantinology at the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen. André de Raaij is politicoloog en historicus, verbonden aan de akademie voor Ambulante wetenschappen, en publiceert over uiteenlopende onderwerpen.
