The Historic American Buildings Survey/Historic American Engineering
Record (HABS/HAER) Collections comprise a database of over 32,000 records

researchers with the quantity and type of documentation (measured drawings,
photographs, written data, and photo captions) available for each site.
This information can be obtained directly from the HABS/HAER web site (http://www.cr.nps.gov/habshaer/database.htm),
and the listings for Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery Counties are
available here.
Detailed catalogs of the HABS records can also be found in book form. For
specific listings of Philadelphia sites, see Webster R.J., Philadelphia
Preserved. Philadelphia: 1976.
The national list is found in: The Historic American Buidings Survey/Historic
