One note of historical interest is the fact that President Grover Cleveland spent considerable time in the home. In fact, a wing of the house was built for him and is called the Grover Cleveland Wing. It was erected for him and his new bride Frances Folsom. Cleveland, while President, stayed in the wing of this house many times, including his honeymoon as well as the two times he received the presidential nomination in Philadelphia.
