"The building rough cast on the outside, dimensions marked on the plot. Floors hemlock joist at 1st story...Carolina pine floor boards, white pine plank window frames sash double hung...outside white pine panel'd shutters iron strap hinges, at windows of 2nd story wood head co[??] with tin and finished with moulding dentals and brackets and 1 1/2 in outside pivot blinds. At front of hall a square head plank door frame with sidelights & transom jambs and head cased and panel'd doors 2 in 2 panels each top panel with circular top, a vestibule in front of hall, door jambs cased with side lights and transom each door with one panel and a large light of glass in hall, a continued rail stairs to attic story...windows front with double sash doors on hinges 5 lights in each sash...windows at side circular head frame
...recessed to floor and panel'd under sill with inside 1 in. panel's shutters, folding heads panel'd. At chimney a large white circular marble mantel...sunk panel'd ceiling with stucco cornice and center piece, ceiling of hall and vestibule finished centre piece and cornice...
"The kitchen has one 8 light window glass 12x16 in outside panel'd shutters, jambs and head cased plain, a chimney with J. A. Owens cooking range, a dresser with 4 in doors with iron sink for hot and cold water lead pipes, brass spigots, a closed stairway of white pine boards to 2nd story with a flight of steps under to cellar...
"Second story of front part of house a stairway and 2 rooms, stair way off back room with a door to each room..Second story of back building divided same as front into 2 rooms. Room over the dining room, one 8 light window...Room over the kitchen...has a door at head of private stairs, one window same as other room...register in flu..window back with outside shutters opening on roof of piazza. Also water pipes...Attic story an entry and 2 rooms with a small room off front...
"The 2 story and attic part with a 4 pitch patent composition roof, sunk gutters, wood cornice cove and cornice projecting about 2 1/2 ft. 8 large saw'd brackets plank under eaves at front and 6 at each side, and 8 at back part. 2 tin conductors. The back building a double pitch composition roof hip'd at end, with eaves and cornice projecting about 18 in. 7 saw'd plank brackets at each side and 5 back. 2 tin conductors.
"A closed piazza at back part of kitchen. White pine posts solid 5 in square the ends weatherboarded...a gas oven...A piazza along the front of dining room, yellow pine floor, cased columns 5 in square, ceiling plastered, a patent composition roof hip'd at one end, sunk gutters, wood cornice and conductor. Also a piazza at the front of house, yellow pine floor, solid white pine columns 5 in square about 10 ft long, ceiling plastered, patent composition roof hip'd at ends, sunk gutter, wood cornice and cornice projecting about 15 in. small sawed brackets under eaves, open brackets between the posts. Building new and wood work well painted."

Addendum:
"June 5th, 1866. Survey of a two story bay window at the side of the dining room of the within building, built of stone at each story has three 8 light windows glass 12 x 16 in recessed to floor and panel'd under sill, boxed window frames, sash double hung inside, folding panel'd shutters, woodwork all grained oak. And inside finished same as inside of house, ceiling with plaster cornice, a gravel roof, sunk gutters, wood cornice and all finished to correspond with dwelling. A new gravel roof put on all the house."
"Decem 7, 1868. The roofs of the dwelling and porches thereto are now all covered with tin."
