"A two story stone dwelling House, Situate on the South East Corner of Main and High streets in the Borough of Germantown, Philadelphia County. Dimensions marked on plot. Floors yellow pine. Room doors 1 1/4 in yellow pine 6 panel'd, window frames solid yellow pine sash single hung, outside yellow pine panel'd shutters at windows of the first story, at 2d story windows outside venetian blinds iron strap hinges, and at 2d story and garret windows inside 1 in shutters...at the front of entry an out door square head...an open newel stairs to garret yellow pine steps and risers...stars panel'd at side and flight of steps under stairs to cellar...front parlour 2-24 light 8 by 10 in windows front, an 18 light window at side, a fireplace wood mantel marble front, folding doors to back room, the back room a fireplace and mantel same as front...story 8 1/2 feet. The dining room with 16 light sash door, sash siding in wall...chimney with small arch, a door to pantry. The kitchen has 2-12 light windows, a door to cellar...2 large kitchen dressers, door to adjoining kitchen which has a stone floor, an out door 2 windows with diamond light sash, sash on hinges in two parts, a fireplace with gas oven, a large closet, a closed stairs to 1/2 story ledged door at the bottom story 7 1/2 feet finished plain, at first platform of stairs, a door to room over dining room...
"Second story of front part divided into an entry and two rooms, entry off back room, a door from entry to each room, doors same as first story, a door to bathroom, front room 4 20 light 8x10 in windows and one 15 light window, a fire place wood mantel, closet in chimney...The back room a fireplace wood mantel...story 8 1/2 ft. at 2nd platform of stairs a ledged door to loft over dining room. Garret finished and divided into a small entry off back part and two rooms and a store room, rooms divided by board partitions, a ledged door from entry to each room, the entry has one window with diamond sash on hinges and door to bathroom...story 8 ft in centre 3 ft at eaves, closets under eaves.
"Room over dining room has 3 windows diamond sash on hinges, in 2 parts. Chimney with arch, door to room over kitchen which has 3 windows...a fireplace with Franklin Stove, closet in recess of chimney, a door to room the 1 1/2 story part. This part finished plain, story 7 ft. The room of 1 1/2 story part has 2 ridged top twin dormer windows, diamond shaped glass sash on hinges, 2 windows in ends with diamond shaped glass. Room finished story 6 ft 4 in. in centre and 1 ft at eaves, finished plain. The front part of house has a double pitch cedar shingle roof. The eaves at the front finished with wood cornice, tin gutter and conductors, the back part wood troughs. The dining room and kitchen a double pitch hip roof of cedar shingles, plain eaves, part wood troughs and part tin hanging troughs, a ridged dormer window on roof diamond shaped sash, and 1 1/2 story part roof same. At the north side of House a frame building...3 stories communicating with main house at each story. the first story finished with closets, the 2nd and 3rd stories bath rooms. in each room one window diamond shap'd glass sash on hinges in 2 parts, a double pitch cedar shingle roof. also a one story pantry finished the same. and a one story frame at south side of kitchen with stairs to cellar finished same as pantry."
