Included are a photograph (same as found in the Campbell Collection vol. 33, p. 171) and manuscript text:

"No. 5933-corner Main & High streets; Morris-Littell house

"Mrs. Ann Willing Morris lived here in 1812 & died 1832. She was a distinguished naturalist and had the honor of being the first lady member of the Academy of Natural Sciences. It has been said that this was also the old Warmer property, and that Dr. Witt spent the last years of his life on this place. Dr. Witt was associated with Kelpius up till the time of the latter's death. He was an excellent botanist & contemporary of Bartram & Collinson, also a skilled musician, having made a large pipe organ. It is said he made the first clock ever constructed in America. He died at the age of 95 in 1765. He was buried in the Warmer burying ground adjoining St. Michael's Prot. Epis. Church on High street."
