Green Tree Tavern, the homestead of Francis Daniel Pastorius and
the Daniel Pastorious House.
Also included are photos and engravings:
- 1888 engraving of Daniel Pastorious House (with the
homestead of Francis Daniel Pastorius in the background) on
Germantown Avenue (also in Perkins Collection, vol. 61D, p. 60 at
HSP).
- Different views of the Daniel Pastorious House after it
was moved in 1898 to 25 High Street. One includes a corner of
the new First Methodist Church and part of an older Pastorious
farm house (with the doorway from the Bensall house) in the rear.
- Image of Pastorius' boyhood home in Sommerhausen,
Germany.
