"6108 (Old number, 5108)
"Site of the house in which Benjamin Davis lived in 1809. He was once postmaster of the town. In 1840 Joseph Botten, the son of William Botten, lived here. He received from his father's estate, as his share of the inheritance, a mortgage of $1,000 on a piece of ground on the west side of McCallum Street...

"Edward Doyle and Joseph Kerrigan kept a liquor saloon here in 1887. The new building on the site is Emma Doyle's tavern."
