"6100-02 (Shoemaker, 5102-04)
This is the site of a large stone building erected on lot # 18. drawn in the name of Henry Frey. In 1714 it was owned by Philip C. Zimmerman, and in 1766 by Matthias and John Knorr. Shoemaker says, 'Matthias Knorr lived here in 1809. His family bought the property in 1728 and retained it until 1849.' The last owner was John Knorr."
