Demolished 1882
Southeast corner of Girard Avenue and Fifteenth Street, Philadelphia, Pa.
The three-storey white mansion is visible through the many trees just showing their spring leaves. It sits behind a wrought iron fence which, as it turns the corner, becomes a stone fence in a large park-like setting. Horsecar tracks are laid on both streets. From the left comes a yellow horsecar designated "Girard Avenue." A green car, pulled by a white pair, comes from the right. There are several adults in this very beautiful and delicately rendered tranquil view.
