Colonade Row, Southwest corner of Fifteenth and Chestnut Streets

A block of five uniform residential four-storey buildings united by a street-level colonnade face Chestnut Street. The windows are unshuttered. Five of them are open. There are two gas lamps in the scene, one at the corner and one in front of the third house from the corner. There is a man carrying a violin(?) case on 15th Street. Two men are crossing the same street. There is a couple, two ladies and a single man on the sidewalk in front of the colonnade. Curbs and crosswalks are installed.
