A view of the northwest corner of 8th and Arch Streets, featuring Wood's Popular Trimming Store. There are two signs on the store, one reads: "This old building is doomed. Its no use talking, down she comes." The other says: "This old building is doomed to cave in and down comes the entire stock with it." The building was torn down in 1883.
