THE GUGLIELMO MARCONI FOUNDATION

The foundation has acquired a building in the historic section of Belford, New Hampshire for the establishment of the United States National Marconi Museum. Displayed will be early Marconi wireless equipment together with artifacts never before released by the Marconi family. The museum is also planning a Internationale AM, 50 KW Short-wave station to include with its regular broadcasts, scientific news.

The heirs of Marconi, Princess Elettra Marconi-Giovanelli and her son Prince Guglielmo Giovanelli-Marconi, PHD, partecipants in the Foundation and Museum, will be cutting the ribbon at the opening of the Museum, tentatively scheduled to open December 1996.

The Marconi Foundation will welcome donations of Marconi related equipment, parts therof, components, papers, photographs, references, books and "Wireless Age" magazine for inclusion in the Museum.
