The drawings in this collection are all by Lucien Jonas, but they were done in wood-cut by various craftsmen : Aubert, Gasperini, Malcouronne and Schmaechtens. It is not always indicated who did the engraving though the majority of the following drawings were engraved by Malcouronne. Every now and then you will undoubtedly recognize a drawing that was also published in L'Illustration, though done in a different medium.
This is but a small collection taken from the three volumes of 'La Guerre Racontée par Nos Généraux'.
