French Pulp Fiction Magazines

Here is a small collection of magazine covers featuring illustrations having to do with the Great War. This particular romantic pulpfiction publication appeared twice weekly on the newstands and featured novels in serial form, mostly sentimental and heartbreak stories. These covers are from 1929, a decade after the end of the war, but of course the memory of the days of 1914-18 were still vivid and clear in memory.
