Belgian Prisoners in Germany

A Series of Postcards

Although there is no indication of date of publication, from the happy looks on these Belgian prisoners, it would appear that this series of postcards was published under the German occupation. The smiling faces and indication that their food bowls were filled and their lot not unduly hard to bear was probably meant to reassure Belgian families that their husbands and sons were being treated well in the prisoner-of-war camp in Munsterlager Germany.
