Antwerp was bombed by a Zeppelin on Augsut 25th, 1914, the first city ever bombed from the air

Oil tanks in the Antwerp harbor were set ablaze, first by German planes and then by the retreating Belgians.
These were amongst the largest oil reserves in Europe at the time, mainly meant for German industry in the Ruhr.
