Almanach Populaire Hachette 1915
Probably set to type and readied for printing before the outbreak of war in August 1914, this 1915 almanach contained little having to do with the great struggle raging across Europe in 1915. Somewhat hurriedly the publisher included a set of pages giving some general information on military matters, such as the relative strength of the opposing armies and some heartening statistics on the prowness of the French army. To spice up the lay-out, some out-of-date etchings of equipment and fortifications was included as well.
