Almanach du Courrier du Centre 1920

left : Outer Cover Page - a Rustic Allegory on the Fruits of Peace

right : Inner Cover Page - a Rural Allegory on the Fruits of Victory

This particular 1920 almanach, was printed and distributed by a Limousin regional newspaper, 'le Courrier du Centre'. Even though it is for the year 1920, a number of charmingly naive and colorful prints were included alluding to the great victory France had just achieved the past year. And just in case anyone had failed to notice, both outer and inner cover pages were graced with allegories alluding to the benefits of peace and victory.
