1400 Balltown Road, Schenectady, New York.
On a personal note, it was a sad day when
General Electric sold these facilities.
GE was a leader in early experimental broadcasting, Schenectady was
the Mother Church.
I had the opportunity to visit the studios, pictured
above, as well as the transmitting plant
in the Helderberg Mountains. Unfortunately, for
some of us, economics ruled.
