Note: Also present from the end of October 1793, was the 1st company/1st battalion, and the whole 2nd battalion, of the Infanterie Leibregiment, with 4 guns and their crews from Baden. Their presence derived from a subsidiary treaty between Baden and Great Britain, according to which Baden had to deliver 750 men for the campaign. The Baden contingent suffered heavily from desertion, and sustained heavy losses during the engagement at Zandtvoorde. Rather strangely, nearly all OB’s does not mention this contingent.
