REPORT ABOUT THE PERFORMANCE OF THE ARMY CORPS:

Provisions: Since the baggage wagons of the army corps have been burned, it can take nothing with it. We found nothing in Görlitz, the distribution of not even a half ration could take place. All Divisions lack flesh. We found no fodder in the magazines. We maintain the horses by foraging, but even this way of finding fodder will soon be exhausted.

Hospitals: All wound of the army corps have been brought to the hospital in Bautzen.

Resources: The army corps has none, and the country will soon be unable to provide for them.

REPORT ABOUT THE SUPERIOR OFFICERS:

Promotions: The Colonels Obert, Sibuet, Azemar and Maudeville have been promoted to général de brigade; Azemar has replaced General Penne who was wounded on 21 August; Obert was wounded on 19 August.

Killed: Général de brigade Vachot on the 23rd, and général de brigade Sibuet on 29 August.
