Pennington is served by New Jersey Transit bus route 602, operating between Bromel Place, Pennington, and Trenton Commons (State and Broad Streets). The North bound route, from Trenton, follows Penninton Road (Rte. 31) to Main Street, turns west on West Delaware Avenue, North on Route 31, East on Bromel Place and finally back to West Delaware Avenue for the return trip to Trenton.

Generally buses are hourly on week days and Saturdays, from early morning to late night from about 9:00 am to 7:00 pm. The State Museum and Library are within 3 blocks of the bus stop at North Warren and Trenton Commons; DMV is 5 blocks; Social Security is on the Commons. There are easy connections to the Trenton Rail Station and Trenton Airport. The bus passes the College of New Jersey in Ewing.

Be aware that the bus shelters do not protect very well from the weather. Be sure to dress appropriately.
