Complete Twill Flap Set
Sanhican 2 Lodge

Bill Griesmyer writes about the F1a First Flap:
Sanhican Lodge #2 F1a first flap. Sanhican Lodge was chartered in 1919 in the George Washington Council located in Trenton, New Jersey. In 1922, a constitution and by-laws were adopted, and a totem was designed (coiled Rattlesnake). The lodge name was changed from Trenton Lodge to Sanhican Lodge.

Dr. Larry Gering writes about the F4 flaps:
Here's my story about the 2F4 - the 75th anniversary flap that looks similar to the 2F1. The Lodge decided to recognize the 75th anniversary with a big event at Yards Creek. Jim McKeever (another former Chief) was the ranger at YCSR. The registration fee for the event included the Pilgrimage weekend (food, etc) and one (just ONE) 2F4 flap per person. As a dues-paid member, I sent in my money to get my patch, but I was living in Louisiana and wouldn't be able to attend.

One father showed up at registration that Friday night and wanted to pick up two packets. He explained that his son was home sick; big mistake because they then refused to give him his son's packet ( because "he has to be here to earn the flap!"). Screaming event began. McKeever quietly took my packet out of box and up to his house. Next day, the Lodge advisor demanded that he return the packet because I wasn't there either. Jimmy refused. This created a huge problem at Pilgrimage. Later that week, after Council Executive (not Jack Brown) said for Lodge to decide it themselves, the left-over 2F4 flaps were burned in the council headquarters parking lot by smirking lodge officers/advisors. I got my flap; sick kid never did get his, at least officially.

Randall Holden adds the following about the 75th Anniversary flaps:
The year was 1994, and the price was $25 per flap. Both ceremonies were great (at Pahaquarra and at the YCSR Vigil site). I remember the flack about the F4s and the fact that seven went missing.
