Gerald G. Case writes about the S51 flap:
The bronze Mylar border version is our new flap, effective January 1, 2011. The new design downplays the clouds and two mountains shown in earlier flaps. The new flap is in 3D, with the raccoon embroidered in a distinct layer above the rest of the flap. The gold Mylar border version is an LEC issue. The pink border version as a limited edition flap (250 flaps issued) to support our community service project, the Race for the Cure.

Doug Walker writes about the S53 flap:
The pink ribbon flap was issued to coincide with the Walk for Breast Cancer Awareness at Great Adventure.

Doug Walker writes about the S56 Flap:
The Lodge issued 100 of the 2012 S56 flaps. Each flap was hand numbered on the back of the flap. Notice YCSR ghosted onto the top left of the flap. (look closely, it is very difficult to see) The Lodge sold flaps 51-100 to their members, and donated flaps 1-50 to FoYCSR (Friends of Yard Creek Scout Reservation) as a fundraiser for the group.
