Compliance Assurance Senior Engineer-Position #00086; $51,452-$105,594

Structure and Bridge Division seeks experienced senior engineer to ensure agency compliance with federal/state laws, policies & procedures governing inspection and inventory management of bridges and structures; conducts statewide compliance audits for quality assurance/quality control; makes engineering determinations regarding structural defects; ensures safety of traveling public by conducting structural analyses in accordance with AASHTO load rating procedures & other established guidelines; develops inspection procedures/recommendations; oversees bridge inspection training & provides guidance, problem resolution & technical assistance to district staff; requires PE registration or exemption by Code; statewide travel, occasionally overnight.
