HISTORICAL INFORMATION:
The cemetery was started in June 1944, and reflects the fighting that took place west of Caen, most notably the Battle for Tilly-sur-Seulles, and Operations EPSOM and JUPITER. Some of those fell in the attacks on Hill 112 are also buried here.
LOCATION:
The cemetery is reached from Caen by taking route D9
westwards. After about 8 kilometres, the road by-passes St Manvieu village,
while Cheux lies 2 kilometres to the left. You will find St Manvieu War Cemetery
on the right hand side.
