MUSEE D DAY OMAHA, VIERVILLE-SUR-MER

Located on the road between Vierville-sur-Mer and Pointe du Hoc is the Musée D Day Omaha. Contained in an old hangar, it has some superb exhibits including original concrete 'dragons teeth', landing craft and a huge steel observation cupola from a bunker at Cherbourg. On my return in 2003, some further items had been added and it is now one of the best Omaha Beach Museums.
