People involved in the development and maintenance of this site:

Robert Benner is a resident of Mullica Township and an employee at the College Library.  He has been the most instrumental person in terms of the actual technical construction of the site.  Robert has a long-term interest in Amatol.  This project combined two of his many interests.  His enthusiasm shows in the efficiency of this site.  Robert scanned all the pages of the book and the archive papers.  The pages were re-sized  and digitized  so they would print on a standard printer.  This was to facilitate the use of the site by students and researchers.  All digitized pages are linked so that through navigation buttons the reader can easily move through the site.

David Wilcox, an historian and a former librarian has generously donated his many years of research on Amatol to the library.  It was he who had gone to the National Archives, made inquiries of various military agencies and departments, and performed other in-depth research to retrieve the primary sources duplicated in the Archive section of this site.  David is also contributing editorial services to this site.  He currently is the principal of Exodus Enterprises, an historical and genealogical research service.

Marston Mischlich, an instructor of history at ACCC, has been involved with this project from its inception.  He contributes material on the military history and ordnance information incorporated in the narrative.  His education includes an A.A.S. in Nuclear Devices Technology from the Community College of the Air Force, B.A. in History from Glassboro State College (Now Rowan University in Glassboro, N.J.), and an M.A. in History form California State University.

Mitch is a graduate of the U.S. Naval School for Explosive Ordnance Disposal and current member of the International Association of Bomb Technicians and Investigators.  He has a special interest in U.S. and European military history from the 17th century to the present.

Paul Rigby, a former librarian at the College, was over-all coordinator and manager of the Amatol History project.  His support for, and initiation of the project is greatly appreciated.  The library's current Director, Mr. Grant Wilinski, continues that enthusiastic support  for the library's digital projects and initiated the Atlantic City in WW II Web.
