GREEN, William D. - Company K, 53rd Alabama Partisan Rangers / Company C, 24th Battalion Alabama Cavalry. Died of Disesae (mumps) on December 4, 1863 as POW at Nashville, Tennessee. Burial at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Nashville, Tennessee.

GRIFFIS, John F. - Autauga Rifles, Co. G 6th Alabama Infantry Regt. Bell Rifles, Co. H 38th Alabama Infantry Regt. Killed in battle or died of wounds or disease December 1, 1863 at Kingston Hospital, Kingston, Gerogia. Burial unknown. Probably buried in an unmarked location at Cemetery Hill, Kingston, Georgia.

HAGERTY, Philip Joshua - Wetumpka Light Guard, Co. I 3rd Alabama Infantry Regt. Killed May 1, 1863 at the Battle of Chancellorsville. Burial Fredericksburg Confederate Cemetery, Fredericksburg, Virginia.

HALL, Bolling, Jr. - Autauga Rifles, Co.G 6th Alabama Infantry Regt. Fitzpatrick Blues, Co.E 2nd Battalion Hilliard's Legion, subsequently Co.B 59th Alabama Infantry Regt. Wounded at Chickamauga, Ga. Died at home in Autauga County as a result of those wounds. Burial at the Hall Family Cemetery, Ellerslie Plantation, Elmore County, AL.

HALL, Leroy A. - Autauga Rifles, Co. G 6th Alabama Infantry Regt. Died of disease June 15, 1863 at Berryville Hospital, Clark County, Virginia. Burial unknown.

HALL, Thomas Brown - Tuscaloosa Cadets, Killed at Chickamauga, Ga. Burial at Chickamauga Battlefield. Marker at the Hall Family Cemetery, Ellerslie Plantation, Elmore County, AL.

HAMPTON, John F. - Autauga Rifles, Co. G 6th Alabama Infantry Regt. Died at Sangsters Crossroads, Virginia on October 16, 186?. Burial unknown.

HARBOR - John Lewis (Lewis G.) - Co. K 53rd Alabama Partisan Rangers. Died December 20, 1864 at Rock Island, Illinois. Burial at Rock Island Cemetery, Grave #570.

HAVIS, William C. - Wetumpka Light Guard. 3rd Alabama Infantry Regiment, Company I, 2nd. Lt. Killed at Lynchburg, VA in June 1864. Burial unknown.

HAYES, J. - John Gill Shorter Artillery, Co. K 1st Alabama Infantry Regt. Hospitalized at Montgomery, AL in October 1863, and died that month. Buried in the Confederate Dead Section, Oakwood Cemetery, Montgomery, Alabama. 

HEADLEY, Elisha T. - Autauga Rangers, 4th Alabama Volunteer Militia, Company D. Enlisted 3/25/1862, age 22. Recruited 5/12/1862 at Mobile, AL into Company H of the 40th Alabama Infantry Regiment. Died at Mobile. Burial at Confederate Rest, Row 15, Grave 40, Magnolia Cemetery, Mobile, AL.

HEADLEY, John C. - Sallie Ratcliffe Guards, Co.E 44th Alabama Infantry Regt. Died at Falling Creek in July 1862. Death claim filed on Febuary 10, 1863 by Mary Headley, widow, Autauga County, care of Durden. Burial unknown. 

HEATH, Joel D. - Brownlee's Company. May Heath, mother, Autauga County, Alabama, care C. P. Shelley. No des. list. Claim filed Mar. 23, 1863. List, Condition of Claims, 2nd Aud., C. S. Treas.

HEDGEPETH, Enoch H. - Autauga Guards, Company G Blythe's 44th Mississippi Battalion. Subsequently Company K of the 24th Alabama Infantry Regiment. Death Claim filed 12/8/1863 by his father, Elias Hedgepeth at Kingston, AL with the 2nd Aud., C.S. Treasury. Place and cause of death unknown. Burial unknown.

HELMS, William J. - Company C 44th Alabama Infantry Regiment. Killed June 16, 1864 at Bermuda Hundreds, VA. Burial Marker at the Coosa River Primative Baptist Church Cemetery (Shoal Creek Baptist Church) near Holtville, Alabama.

HENRY, James, E. - John Gill Shorter Artillery, Co. K 1st Alabama Infantry Regt. Burial at the Confederate Rest Cemetery, Grave 123, Camp Randall, Madison, Wisconsin.

HERNDON, James M. - John Gill Shorter Artillery, Co. K 1st Alabama Infantry Regt. Paroled at Port Hudson on July 14, 1863. Died a few days after his parole on July 18 while in a hospital at Port Hudson, Louisiana. Probably buried in an unmarked location at the Port Hudson Confederate Cemetery.

HESTER, Lewis D. - Autauga Rifles, Co. G 6th Alabama Infantry Regt. Killed at Boonsboro, Maryland on September 11, 1862. Burial unknown. Prabably reinterred from the battlefield to an unmarked grave at either Rose Hill in the Washington County Confederate Cemetery at Hagerstown, or the Mount Olivet Confederate Cemetery in Frederick, Maryland.

HILL, Theophilus Gilmer - Autauga Rifles, Co. G 6th Alabama Infantry Regt. Died of Disease on June 2, 1862 at Richmond Virginia. Burial Hollywood Cemetery Grave Lot 103 Section L Richmond, Virginia.

HILL, Wilson S. - Autauga Rifles, Co. G 6th Alabama Infantry Regt. Died of Disease on June 1862 in Virginia. Burial Confederate Section Old City Cemetery Lynchburg, Virginia.

HINSON, James - Autauga Rifles, Co. G 6th Alabama Infantry Regt. Died July 17, 1862. Burial unknown.

HODGES, Reuben A. - Cox's Wildcats, 2nd Battalion Georgia Sharpshooters, Company E, subsequently Compan K, Oliver's Company of the 58th Alabama Infantry Regiment. Died on April 13, 1864 while a POW at Rock Island, Illinois. Burial at the Confederate Cemetery, grave no. 1038, Rock Island, Illinois.
