David Schwarz was a Croatian inventor who constructed the world's
first operational rigid airship. Many people still believe that it was Ferdinand von
Zeppelin who made the first airship, despite the fact that Zeppelin used the
technical information of Schwarz's airship as his own. Zeppelin's name
unjustifiably entered the history books worldwide, while Schwarz was completely
forgotten. This website is an attempt to correct this historical
injustice.
