Demoted from it's proud status, GP38 #7868 is now drilling local freights. This unit pulled Conrail's "Safety on Wheels Theater" across the system supporting Operation Lifesaver. The 7868 was even featured in a Conrail Postcard in a fresh coat of paint in it's glory days. Unique to this locomotive is the Conrail Philadelphia Division Logo instead of the "can opener". In this September 1998 photo, time has gotten the better of this unit.
